Development of A PHP Based Networking and Sharing Platform

Client Brief

The client wanted us to develop a social networking platform for individuals and organization for a particular location to share and communicate.

Our Endeavor

Blabhood.com is a social networking site that comes with a slogan saying “Find out what is happening in your neighborhood”, and that is what exactly the site is meant for. Before designing the website, we took design inputs from the client and went through the competitor sites to get an idea how the site should look like. Considering the demand and nature of the project, we provided a responsive and creative design and implemented the same in the theme.

The project is built using PHP framework called CodeIgniter, MySQL, jQuery. Additionally, we have used Google Location API to implement the blab posting feature. A user would get location-specific updates on what’s happening around you through geo-location, tagged news, gossip, traffic updates etc.
